Two Yakima Frontloader Upright Bike Mounts for rooftop Yakima tower systems. $25 each (that’s $50 for both, in case you are mathematically challenged). These are about 10 years old, in excellent condition – and essentially the same as the $239 model for sale now.
They are adjustable from 20″ kids bikes to 29″ MTB tires. Probably not suitable for a fat tire bike, but handles large 29″ tires well.
Two things to note: (1) these are the mounts only, does not include the Yakima tower/cross bar system. It’s an accessory you install on the bar you already have.
